Ash is given $100 as a birthday present, and can spend it on anything, but with one condition – whatever Ash doesn’t spend has to be paid back x 10, and for every dollar that Ash spends over $100, it has to be paid back x 20! Sounds like a cruddy deal, but you can help Ash decide what to do for the day. Try to spend the exact amount – you’ll work out what is left at the end of the day.

Ash will catch the train to The Aquarium which is in the middle of the city, walking distance to The Botanic Gardens. It costs $5 for a 2 hour train pass, and takes 1 hour to get there.

1. 2 hours: see some fish and get a bite to eat
2. 4 hours: meet up with Dom to see the sharks and then get a bite to eat
